Venice, a city torn between its rich cultural heritage and the challanges of overtourism, is also the host of the most prominent architecture exhibition in the world-the Biennale Architettura.

The theme of Biennale 2016, Reporting from the Front, invited reflection on how architecture might improve the quality of everyday life. How could this question ecome relevant for Venice? Where are the frontlines of Venice one could report from? And is architecture able to play a relevant role in this context?
Focusing on some issues put forward by the Biennale, such as Transport, Communities and Housing, the design studio Reporting from Venice explores local frontlines and investigates the potential of architectural projects to transform Venice from a transitory space to a place of interaction, community and home.
